Samantha grew up in a 70s ranch in Garner, NC with wood paneling and shag carpets. Her family never once moved, and they didn’t replace the shag carpets until she was well into her teens. Since her parents purchased their first home when she was so young, it was all she knew, and she still laughs when thinking about the weird stuff stuck in the carpet when they finally replaced it. But it was home, and full of memories of her first dog, Christmas mornings, sleepovers with friends, dancing around the dinner table, and watching movies rented from Blockbuster while laying on blankets in the living room.
Samantha fell in love with the idea of home when her aunt took her to the Triangle Parade of Homes. It was that day she became smitten with Real Estate. She felt both intimidated and enamored walking through the highest priced home on the tour. This was a turning point…the moment she realized that home meant something different for everyone.
Samantha believes that from a house, you learn what “home” means to the people that live there. By simply being welcomed into a person’s home for a cup of coffee, you are being invited to see some of the most intimate and beautiful parts of them – their memories, lifestyle, and things that make them feel safest.
Years later, she is still in love with the Triangle and North Carolina as a whole. She loves that we are a short distance from the beach and the mountains. 20 minutes from one another, we have city life and the rural country. We have authentic restaurants of all types because of so many diverse groups moving to the area and bringing amazing cultural experiences with them.
Samantha got into Real Estate and began the SG Realty Team to break the mold of transactional Real Estate deals. She loves to help, educate, and advocate for clients buying or selling homes on their terms, so her clients get the best deal possible and a great investment. She aims to build long-lasting relationships so the SG Realty Team is the household name to help you, your friends, and family find their idea of home in North Carolina for years to come!
